Prisoner Grateful for Alpha Ministries

The words of your most recent letter brought tears to my eyes especially when you said Tonya was looking forward to be reunited with me. It is difficult to express with mere human language just how much your words lifted a heavy burden from my shoulders.

Thanks, Leon, God used your letter to lighten my load and the pamphlet to speak His truth to me regarding recent struggles. Please allow me to briefly explain.

I had not spoken to or heard from Tonya for several weeks. The telephone had been disconnected and she has had so much happening in her life. And as the load was lightened concerning them, God made it clear that I must also surrender all to Him regarding my life, family, and ministry.

It is good to know they are receiving needed help, and that the body of Christ was there for them. I am so thankful they have not lost their apartment, and they don t have to be concerned about going hungry as they had a few times. Again, thanks so much for intervening in their lives. God will bless you for it.

I mentioned earlier that the pamphlet you sent cleared the way for God to reveal truth to me. Yes, I had been struggling with doctrine and truth. As a Christian, one hears many voices. Understanding whose voice we are hearing is so important since the enemy can come clothed even as an angel of light. I am so grateful for the ministry offered by Alpha. A Christ-centered study is so important in the prison setting. Believe it or not prison grounds are enemy territory and a solid foundation is a must in order for one to truly change his heart and life. Alpha Prison Ministries offers that to us and I an so grateful to be a part of this ministry.
